The NinJudo Federation

Nin-Judo Federation Of Ireland was established by Nin-Judo founder Prof. Dr Stephen Salvati a black-belt 7th Dan master in martial art of Judo, in 2008.

Stephen has a black belt 7th Dan in Judo and a black-red belt 9th Dan in Nin-Judo. He has many medals under his belt, including the silver Junior Judo Olympic medal from the 1988 Seoul games. He also has twenty-four 1st place medals in Judo, both continental and intercontinental. Since arriving in Ireland, the Sunday World has named him "Ireland's answer to Bruce Lee".

This page has been created to promote Nin-Judo Federation Of Ireland and its training sessions held at Trinity College Dublin under Eurofox Pictures.

Philosophy of Nin-Judo

Ever since I was a child, I recall, how three individuals, who somewhat like fire torches in the night with star-filled-sky, inspired and guided me find my way and walk through the roads of shaping up my self the way I desired to be. They are, my king and father, Ali Salvati, amazing Bruce Lee and impressively irreplaceable Elvis Presley.

The combination of physical and mental strength on one hand with combination of charming physical image and loving self (which is one of the principle lessons taught by Jesus) on the other hand, together with practicality of the final mix of all above, drove me closer and closer to forming Nin-Judo in 1999.

There are other individuals who have had an immense influence on me and their influence can be seen through my works and style. I was trained Judo- which to my opinion is the most beautiful and spiritual martial arts- by a Persian Judo Master and a black belt 6th Dan in Judo, General Hamid Haydari, I do not think there is a second day in my life which goes by without me having thought about him. I have treasured his teachings and unique personality in me and will never let go of them. I have been trained under him for many years. I have lost contact with him since I left my motherland, the mystical, ancient and glorious beautiful Iran but who knows he might turn up on facebook or somewhere! :o)

The witty and touchable Jackie Chan and -perhaps you might think how come- one of my best friends and the shining Queen, my mother, Masoumeh (Macy) have had effected me in every positive way too.

The rich and ancient Persian culture -which I have inherited- with the deep and soul-smoothening Japanese customs made me enjoy the wonderful marriage of the two in my world.

Nin-Judo, culture-wise is an awesome mix of Persian and Japanese cultures and it is richly influenced by some iconic personalities that their name and soul will endure as long as the universes endures.

Nin-Judo, in words, means Super-charged & gentle way.

Looking at it, with physical perspective, it is a combination of Judo moves in principle mixed with plenty of combo-kicks, punches and many that together makes it looks like a series of highly-entertaining dance and somewhat stunning and striking moves (Think of Flamenco and Tango blended in with Judo’s awesomeness). You would not need to have your martial arts gear on to perform the moves but you are strictly anticipated to have Nin-Judo gear on whilst training. Nin-Judo gear is pretty much Judo gear although the black kimonos can be allowed too.

The main aim of Nin-Judo is to reach the highest level of soul and mind whilst with a great backing of that unique strength, one is ready at all times to physically and mentally sustain himself/herself and therefore control any unbearable situation, be it physical or mental. Empowering both soul and physique are the main goals and therefore praising our wonderful God by giving Him back a healthy and strong body and soul. Nin-Judo aims to bring honest love, peace with strength, power with control and friendship with utmost care and support.
