Sergey Gusev (Assistant Director)

Sergey Gusev was born in Riga, Latvia and has been a member of the Eurofox Pictures Team since 2006.

Sergey assists in all stages of production, administration and sales. He represented Eurofox Pictures at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.

As First Assistant Director Sergey breaks down the script with the Director. This involves taking account of the script content, time limitations, locations and cast availability. He also acts as Assistant Production Manager and co-ordinated with the relevant Department in order to organise the schedules for shooting and the sequence in which the scenes will be shot.

Sergey is also responsible for supervising health and safety on set which involves taking action to control risks and eliminate hazards and taking action in the event of incidents, accidents and emergencies.

Joe McCoy (Assistant Director)

As Third Assistant Director, Joe McCoy works on set with Stephen and liaises with First and Second Assistant directors to move actors from "base camp", organizes crowd scenes, and supervises one or more production assistants (PA).

Joe is responsible for interacting and developing partnerships with other departments and work units in order to attain department goals and objectives under Stephen’s supervision.

He also conducts research as appropriate to projects or initiatives within the work unit, serves as a member of the department's management team by participating in strategic planning, staffing decisions and other key areas.

Joe is actively assigned to budgetary responsibilities.

Joe serves as back up in the absence of department director or other supervisory personnel and provides guidance and consistency in policy and procedure decisions within work unit.
